Nothing spoke to the era of the late 1920's like Louise Brooks and her bobbed cut that would help define the roaring twenties. She only made a couple films then retired as a "kept woman" while rumors of her sexuality only helped make her a more controversial figure in her time. Because of her edgy lifestyle and only making a few films, images of her are almost impossible to find and extremely valuable. The offered example is completely vintage from photographer Edward Thayer Monroe and in great shape, linen backed by a conservator for preservation. One of the only true vintage images of Brooks we have ever handled.
