Lot Description  

The 1920 film "The Penalty" is one of the first feature crime films done in America. It starred Lon Chaney and this photo illustrates, it was also VERY edgy as this photo shows a nude scene! One of the first of it's kind we have ever seen and a true gem of early Hollywood photography!
