Large 1986-87 early color action photograph of Larry Bird from the Boston Celtics driving the lane and looking to score against the Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan. A vintage color masterpiece from the earliest days of mass produced color technology in newspapers, the photo is clear and bold with a pungent odor (like a negative) that is common for this style of image. Stamped on the back from the newspaper photographer (Charles Cherney) that took it with notes from him that go into depth about the camera and speed used to make such an image along with his handwritten date. From the archives of the Chicago Tribune and a work of Michael Jordan art!
