1935 Photograph of the new Heavyweight Champion of the World Jimmy Braddock as he is congratulated by Max Baer after defeating him for the title. An interesting photo as it was taken moments after the event and the paper caption on the front notes that the battle was intense but it ended on a friendly note. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this photo seems to dispute many of the aspects of film "Cinderella Man" and the nasty nature of Baer.
