Lot Description  

1923 Photograph of former controversial Heavyweight Champion of the World Jack Johnson in the ring and trying to get started on the comeback trail. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is a rare photo and is the only example we have ever seen!
