1976 Photograph of New York Yankees catcher Thurman Munson as he charges Larry McCoy the home plate umpire while holding a bat! For once Billy Martin plays peacemaker and gets in between the pair and prevents tensions from escalating further. Stamped on the back by photographer Louis Requena and in great shape, this is one of the better images from the era we have handled and it tells quite a story!
