Large 1952 action photograph from the World Series showing what was described as the "Roots of a Rhubarb" or a controversial play that caused a fight in the game. In the 10th inning of game five of the World Series, this runner was called out but the photograph clearly shows he was safe. The star in the play is Dodgers first baseman Gil Hodges and it mentions that the photographer was John Lindsay. A fine image in great shape, this is important for the camera as much as the play itself!
