Large c. 1947 clear and bold photograph of the ground breaking rookie Jackie Robinson as he shows off his bat to an old timer at the ballpark. Stamped on the back by Barney Stein and in great shape, this is a 10/10 that displays as well as any Robinson photograph we have ever handled. A close examination of the image also shows Jackie wearing an early batting glove which we have never seen before as well! All things considered, this is one of the finer images of Jackie we have ever handled and taken by an important photographer!
