Lot Description  

1947 Panoramic style photograph of the slugging members of the New York Giants who had just set the National League record for home runs in a season (173) and still had some time to chase the 1936 Yankees! Included in the photo are Ernie Lombardi, Buddy Kerr, Bob Thomson, Johnny Mize, and Willard Marshall. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a large paper caption, the photo presents well with some crazing, creasing and handling wear from publication.
