Really incredible image of 'Ole Pete showing off the pitching arm he used to throw his fastball. You can see the spectators (of all ages) mesmerized by the former ballplayer. In addition to being a great baseball image it also demonstrates a time before TV and computers how the masses entertained themselves. What we wouldn't give to be in attendance and hear the accounts of his triumphs from his own mouth, one also can see in the image just how tall 'Ole Pete was compared to the average man of his time. Really nice condition with period label and Acme/NEA stamps on back, this is a poignant piece of history.
