Lot Description  

Large 1929 action photograph of young Detroit Tigers catcher Ray Hayworth from early in his career. A silver gelatin image in great shape, this is as good as pre-war photography gets. Stamped on the back by NEA and this is likely unique, being offered here for the first time ever.
