Haddie Gill was one of the best college pitchers in the country for Holy Cross when the Cincinnati Reds scooped him up in late 1923 after his college season ended. He signed a big bonus and had a ton of promise, but for whatever reason he pitched in a total of ONE game for the Reds, pitching in one inning, then never stepping foot on a major league diamond again. As such, images of Gill are extremely rare with this being the only example known in uniform we have ever seen. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is being offered here for the first time ever and it presents well grading a 10/10!
