1916 Silver gelatin mounted photograph of Hall of Famer George Sisler from early in his career and making the throw as a first baseman. While this is a known Conlon image, it is a rarity among his works as the die cutting of his images was almost always done after he sent the photographs to newspapers but THIS photo was die cut by Conlon himself, mounted and with his handwritten notes on the back of the mount! A rarity among Conlon's works, this is also one of the finest images of Sisler we have ever handled.
