1903 Silver gelatin high quality studio portrait photograph of Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Tommie Leach in uniform. Taken at the studio of Carl Horner and peeled off his mount for easy storage, there is remnants of his white mount on the back of the image which is a nice touch securing the age and vintage of the photograph and this example even has extra of the mount sticking off the side which is CLEARLY the white studio mount! Leach was a star and this is the image that was used to make his T206 baseball card. There is one other example of this photo still on the Horner mount making this the second one that has come to market. Photo has a couple of extremely light corner creases but otherwise it presents beautifully.
