Huge 1905 silver gelatin cabinet photograph of the Princeton University baseball team in uniform and posing at the studio (likely Pach Brothers). An impressive work, baseball photographs were rarely made in this size unless they were a presentational piece issued to the University of members of the team. Despite some glue residue at the edges, this is a perfect 10/10 as the photograph itself is largely untouched. Crystal clear and bold, the image contains college football star James Cooney (arms folded at left) and Dutch Meier their star pitcher at center in coat. There is some clear tape on the back of the clear mounts from a vintage display but this does not affect the front at all.
