1910's Double weight silver gelatin photograph of bystanders posing in front of a cigar store in what would be a pretty normal scene of the Victorian era if not for the SIX dead bodies laid across the ground! We have been unable to determine what this scene shows exactly, but considering it was issued by Underwood and Underwood of New York, it probably took place in that city. A crystal clear and bold original in great shape, this is one of the most poignant crime scene photographs we have ever seen!
