Extremely early c. 1949 pin-up style photograph of actress and model Norma Jean baker who had recently changed her name to Marilyn Monroe in an attempt to ignite her career in Hollywood. A completely original silver gelatin photograph, this was made small enough for men to conceal and it presents well with some handling wear (of course) and a few pinholes where it was on display. One of her finest early images we have handled.
