John Wayne today is remembered as the greatest leading man in Hollywood history, but few know how long it took him to reach that plateau. As such, anything of Wayne from before the WWII era is tough to find and this magnificent portrait from his time with Republic Pictures (late 1930's) is one of his best we have ever offered. Bold and clean, the image presents well and the clarity is off the charts. Wayne is credited on the back with the Studio as well.
