Original 1946 photograph of Louis Zamperini as he poses still in his military uniform along with his bride-to-be Cynthia Applewhite as the two apply for a marriage license. Zamperini was a celebrity at the time for his inspirational story of courage and his marriage was big news. A rare image that is rarely seen and this is one of the only original examples we have ever seen. Photo has a couple of pinholes at the top but it presents well otherwise.
