Large 1938 head to toe posed action photograph of Mel Ott, the slugging New York Giants Hall of Famer posing with his All American sweater. Produced by the Christy Walsh syndicate, he was the driving force behind the All American team as a publicity stunt, but the images of the players in uniform are some of the best of the era with this one being no exception. The photo presents well with a few light creases being the only flaws.
