For whatever reason some baseball players (even Hall of Famers with long careers) are just tough to find quality images of. Among all the stars of the 1920's and 1930's one of the players that you just never find photographs of is Hall of Famer Sam Rice from the Washington Senators. With that said, this is one of the best quality images we have seen of Rice in uniform. Crystal clear and bold, he is staring back through the camera lens and demonstrating the intensity that made him a terror on the diamond. Photo has some editorial markings but it presents well. A rare opportunity to get a quality image of a tough Hall of Famer!
