large 1930 statuesque batting photograph of Hall of Famer Al Simmons as he takes his hacks at the ballpark. Issued through Underwood and Underwood, there is the possibility that this is the work of Charles Conlon as he did many of their baseball images around this time period, but more research is needed. Stamped on the back, this is a nearly perfect example with one tiny crease down by his feet being the only flaw.
