Lot Description  

Incredible 1913 photograph of the street outside Shibe Park packed all the way to the rooftops with fans wanting to catch even the slightest glimpse of the events of the World Series against the New York Giants. Good news for these boys, the Athletics would win! An entire SABR article could be written about the subtle things captured in this photo from the flag, fans, trach, cars... this image from George Grantham Bain has it all!
