Incredible 1961 photograph of Mickey Mantle stepping to the plate in the early months of the iconic season in which he and Roger Maris chased down Babe Ruth's record of 60 home runs. Stamped on the back by local photographer John Croft and issued here for the first time ever, the photo presents beautifully with a spot of damage on the far right border being the only flaw.
