One of the most famous actors of all time, James Dean only made three films (one of which was released in his lifetime), the most famous of which was 1955 "Rebel without a Cause". The ultimate teenage angst film, Dean spent a few minutes in jail during the film and of course they had to take a publicity photo to capitalize on the "Rebel" aspect of the film with this being the result. Crystal clear and bold this is one of the most famous images from the film that was used to make the color lobby card photograph (also included in the lot). A rare vintage piece of Hollywood film history and a collectible color version, both included for one bid!
