1938 Hank Greenberg photographic art study of the young sluggers batting eyes. In 1938 Greenberg was such a huge star that photographers at Acme did a series of images breaking down the individual components of his talent, reminiscent of the series Charles Conlon did 11 years earlier of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig's eyes. Deep and poignant image certainly classifies as "Art" by even the strictest critics! Crystal Clear and in near perfect condition, this is a rare and museum quality image! Reverse carries a paper caption from Acme as well as stamps from both Acme and NEA.
