An argument can be made that Oscar "Happy" Felsch was the greatest casualty of the "Eight Men Out" scandal that led to members of the White Sox being kicked out of organized baseball. With the other seven men, you knew what you had and their careers were winding down or cemented in place. "Happy" Felsch on the other hand was just starting to reach his potential. Coming off a season in which he peaked at .338 and was still only 28 years old, Felsch could easily have been a Hall of Famer in the making!
