1909 Pitching action photograph of Ed Reulbach from the Chicago Cubs in full uniform and showing off his form. Pictured in full uniform, this is a heavily silvered image from Charles Conlon that is not typical of his normal paper style making it a high quality rarity. There is also a long handwritten note on the back from the famous photographer to the editor of the Sporting News that reads, "to the engraver, look out! this print is reversed!" It also bears Conlon's signature on the lower right as well. Photographers would intentionally reverse prints from time to time so they could be engraved and then show up the right way for print and these are rare pieces of newspaper photo history.
