Original c. 1955 (possibly earlier) photograph of a youthful Mickey Mantle posing with three bats in the Yankee locker room and flashing the smile that made him a baseball God! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back, this is off the original negative and is one of the better Mantle images we have ever offered. Photo has some artistic enhancements from publication but we have not tried to remove them because of the small area of paper loss at the top and will leave any restoration or cleaning to the new owner. Easily one of the top Images of Mantle offered by RMY in some time and one that we have never seen before!
