1933 Photograph of members of the Miss America Pageant as they appeared in their costumes and banners riding in the Atlantic City Convention Hall floats and entering the competition. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back, the image contains Miss Virginia, Miss Massachusetts, Miss New Hampshire, Miss Mississippi and one other. This was a significant event as the Pageant had been postponed after 1927 and the 1933 edition was the first reinstallment of the classic beauty pageant. In reality this was the 8th Miss America even though it was the 13th year since it started making it a rare and special piece of history.
