In 1925 a trial took place that in reality meant very little but in popular culture it meant everything. John Scopes was a teacher who taught evolution instead of creation which was against the law in Tennessee. He was brought up on some pretty small charged but the two biggest lawyers in America showed up to debate each side of the argument. As a result, essentially God went on trial. Here the International News reflects five years after the event and talks bout how a new University has been built on the site of the event!
