1927 Studio still photo from the iconic "Jazz Singer" the first talking motion picture ever made! While the movie itself is racist and forgettable, its impact on the world was immeasurable as it literally changed the industry. Classic image shows Al Jolson dressed in black face and preparing for his closing song "Mamie". Photo has some mild wear and editorial enhancements but it looks great. This is one of only a handful of studio stills that we have ever seen from this important film.
