1919 Dated photograph of Ross Youngs, Hall of Famer from the New York Giants at the beginning of his brilliant but tragic career. Youngs would bat .311 this year and lead the league in Doubles but would be out of Baseball and dead by 1927 due to illness. This is a Large Image and one of the best you will find of Youngs, predating his Rookie Baseball Cards by two full years! Has one light pinhole on the bottom and a small crease on the lower left corner but otherwise it looks great. Comes with a PSA letter solidifying this as a Type 1 as well. This photo sold for $546 in our 2014 auction!
