1910 Portrait photograph of the greatest and most respected umpire in baseball, Tommy Connolly in uniform and posing right before the start of another game. Stoically standing with chest protector, this is the finest image we have ever seen of Connolly, stamped on the back by photographer Paul Thompson and in pretty nice shape overall, this is also one of his earliest images as photos of umpires were not popular at the time.
