c. 1910 Cabinet photograph of Baseball Pioneer Harry M. Stevens who was the inventor the scorecard and also the hot dog, two staples of the game of baseball. From Stevens own estate, this is a true gem from the history of the National Game and almost certainly unique, showing the underrated baseball icon in front of an impressive set of grandstands. One of the most important men in the history of baseball, especially among those who never actually played it! Photo presents well with some wear to the cabinet backing, this is from Stevens' estate and had a family members name written (signed) on the back. Photo portion is clear and beautiful!
