Rare 1909 photograph of Hall of Famer Eddie Collins by the Gilliams Press Syndicate. Gilliams was the first photo company to issue photographs with paper captions on the back making them pioneers in the world of photography. Images by Gilliams are quite scarce today and this is a tremendous view of Hall of Famer Eddie Collins from early in his career. Photo has some chipping at the corners and a crease on the lower right but overall it is a rare survivor (probably the only one in the world) and attractive for being over 100 years old.
