Before Frank "Home Run" Baker was the most famous slugger in baseball, he was a low level minor leaguer trying to make it to the big time as a member with the Reading baseball club of the Class B Tri-State League. The offered cabinet photograph shows a young Baker standing third from the right in uniform and before he ever took a pitch in the major leagues. A high grade (perfect) photo with some slight chipping at the corners, this is slabbed by SGC and is one of the finest images of Baker that exists.
