1939 Incredible photograph of two of the most famous sluggers in the history of the Detroit Tigers organization. On this day Sam Crawford, the legendary deadball slugger paid a visit to the Tigers dugout and talked hitting (in uniform) with young Hank Greenberg! Taken by a local photographer from Detroit (Kilpatrick) and this is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever. One of the coolest images of Greenberg we have ever offered!
