One of the most important moments of the roaring twenties was the execution of Ruth Snyder. She made front page news before she was electrocuted and the images of her death were an incredible piece of photo-journalism. Here her body is placed in a vault after she was executed and the casket is being removed. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
