1930 Dramatic photograph of the casket of boxer Frankie Campbell as it was being led to the cemetery for burial in California. Campbell was killed in the ring by Max Baer and has been the subject of spots in Hollywood films and the event talked about often in boxing circles. Here his body is being led out of the funeral home and into the car that would take him to the cemetery. A poignant image in great shape, it is interesting to note that "Campbell" was actually born Francisco Camilli and he was the brother of Dolph Camilli the baseball player!
