1940's Portrait style photograph of young Cuban superstar baseball player Pablo Garcia. Officially he began his professional career in 1946 making this a VERY rare early image! One of the top Cuban players of his era, he was ranked among other stars like Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente but unfortunately was born about a decade too early to really get a shot in the major leagues. Easily the greatest photograph of Garcia that exists!
