1916 Action photograph of one of the top American tennis players in the world, Robert Lindley Murray as he slams a forehand back at his opponent. Taken by George Grantham Bain and stamped on the back, this is a clear and bold image with a rip on the right side that has been repaired on the back with clear tape. One of the better players of the pre-WWI era, this is one of his finest images.
