Incredible 1961 official NASA photograph of the Project Mercury Astronauts as they pose in front of an F-106 jet in full uniform. Included in the image are John Glenn, Gus Grissom, Wally Schirra, Alan Shepard, Deke Slayton, M. Scott Carpenter and L. Gordon Cooper. Condition and quality are both outstanding and this is one of the earliest NASA images from the space race we have ever handled!
