Rare photograph of Lefty Groves (Grove) from the Baltimore Orioles issued by Pacific and Atlantic and showing him in a full pitching pose. Taken during the 1924 season as he is wearing his Orioles jersey and shortly before his sale to the Philadelphia Athletics for a record price of $106,000! This is one of only a handful of known Grove photos in Orioles uniform and it comes with a full PSA letter (Type 1). Photo has some nice artistic enhancements that really make the image stand out and it is the only example of this photo off the original negative we know of (we sold one a few years back that was original but off a duplicate negative).
