1936 Photograph of world famous gangster Charles "Lucky" Luciano as he was finally convicted in New York City and sent off to Sing Sing Prison! The photo shows Luciano handcuffed to agents as he is hauled away with one of them beaming from ear to ear at the prospect of finally nailing this iconic gangster and getting him off the streets. Stamped on the back by Wide World Photos, this was issued ten years after the event to commemorate it. The photo presents well with crystal clarity and the only flaw is a couple of staple holes on the top border from publication.
