Lot Description  

Rare 1970 photograph of Hall of Famer Ernie Banks as he crosses home plate after blasting his 500th career home run against the Atlanta Braves at Wrigley Field. One of the first images showing a player's 500th career homer that we have ever seen and it displays well, this is one of only two examples of this image we have ever seen.
