1956 Sweeping action photograph of young rookie Roberto Clemente as he dives across the grass at Ebbets Field to make a dramatic catch off a liner from fellow Hall of Famer Pee Wee Reese. The photo is in great shape, but it is impossible to tell if the image is fuzzy because of the action being shot from behind home plate (350 feet away) or if it was shot off a duplicate negative. We believe the former, but this a slight restrike either way from the early 1960's issued by the United Press.
