Early 1936 photograph of San Francisco Seals star Joe DiMaggio as he tries to fatten up on his mom's spaghetti before reporting to Yankees training camp. A possibly unique photo taken by NEA and stamped on the back, it also carries a vintage paper tag on the back which describes the scene. Offered here for the first time ever, this is a rare picture of DiMaggio before he ever put on a Yankee uniform. Photo is in pretty nice shape with some crazing from age and a few light corner creases being the only flaws.
