Lot Description  

Beautiful 1934 large batting photograph of St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Ducky Medwick from early in his career. Issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with some pinholes at the corners and a crease on the far right side. One of his best photographs ever taken from an aesthetic standpoint and it looks better than the technical grade. A nice touch is the date on the back that shows this was used during the Gas House Gang World Series.
