Large 1931 silver gelatin photograph of the greatest pitcher in baseball Lefty Grove as he puts on his game face and prepares to take the mound for the Philadelphia Athletics. Deep and precise, this photo uses light and dark tones exceptionally and it is one of the finer more artistic images of Grove out there. Photo has a crease on the far right border and a small chip on the upper left but overall it is quite nice.
